Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and role. For Borrower Portal users, we collect contact information provided by the lender.

Loan and Financial Data

When you use Lucia, you may upload financial documents, compliance certificates, loan terms, and other business information related to your borrowers and facilities. This data is stored securely and used exclusively to provide the Lucia service to you.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken. This helps us improve the product and provide support.

Communications

We collect information you provide when you contact us for support or other inquiries, including the content of your messages and any attachments.

Integration Data

We collect data received from third-party services you connect to Lucia, such as accounting systems or other portfolio management tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Lucia platform
  • Generate reports, analyses, and insights from your uploaded data
  • Send automated notifications, including compliance reminders and billing statements
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with the Service
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities

3. AI and Your Data

We do not use your data to train AI models. Your borrower data, financial documents, and facility information are processed exclusively to provide the Lucia service. After processing, raw data is not retained beyond what is necessary for the Service. AI analysis is performed in isolated containers per borrower.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use cloud infrastructure providers (US-based) to host and process data. These providers are contractually bound to protect your information.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Business transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent: We may share information when you explicitly direct us to, for example when sharing a report with a borrower through the Borrower Portal.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
  • Per-borrower data isolation
  • Role-based access controls

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We will also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account termination, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information.
